How to spy via WhatsApp Web?
To monitor the movements of your boyfriend (a) through WhatsApp Web, you only need to access web.whatsapp.com, then take your partner’s cell phone and enter the app. Then press the three dots and go to “Linked devices > LINK DEVICE” and scan the QR code.
Automatically the chats in the mobile app will be linked to the online service and from there you will be able to spy on all conversations and even delete or reply to chats. Although, your partner will be able to tell that you are logged in from another device if they accidentally go into the “Linked Devices” section.
Spying through the WhatsApp backup copy
To do so, enter the mobile app and click on the three dots icon, then go to “Settings > Chats > Backup” and click on “Save“. It should be noted that for this method to work, the backup must be stored in the internal memory of the mobile and not in the cloud.
After that, all that remains is to find the backup file in the device’s memory and use the appropriate software for the job. This method is particularly simple, especially on Android, while on iOS it is necessary to decrypt the entire backup to access the messages.
Monitor the activity of your messages
It is possible to know the amount of interaction that your partner has with certain contacts on their WhatsApp, to do this enter the app and press the three dots icon. Then go to “Settings > Storage and data > Manage storage” and in the “Chats” section you will see a list of the people you interact with.
Note: by clicking on the contact’s name you will be able to see all the multimedia files you have exchanged.
How to spy from chat export
To do this go to WhatsApp and then to the chat of the person in question, then click on the three dots icon and then on “More > Export chat“. Now, choose an available messaging app and send the file.
Please note that if you click on “NO FILES” the multimedia items exchanged in the conversation will not be attached, but the export process will be faster.

In case you suspect that your partner or another person is spying on your conversations, you can check and prevent it. To do this log into WhatsApp and press the three dots icon, then click on “Linked devices” and see if there are any unknown open sessions.
If there is nothing out of the ordinary, it means that no one is spying on you. But if you notice that there is a session started on an unknown device or the times do not correspond to your last connection on WhatsApp Web, proceed by clicking on the session in question and select “Logout“.
How do you block WhatsApp for better security?
In case suspicious activity has been detected or you want to prevent the application from being tapped by external tools, lock the WhatsApp app with fingerprint. To do so, follow these steps:
- Log in to WhatsApp and click on the three dots icon.
- Then go to “Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock“.
- Finally, activate this option and then indicate how often you want the mobile to lock automatically.
